“I know y’all are expecting me to say a new new brick-and-mortar that opened this year {e.g. Indianola, Vinny’s, UB Preserv, etc.} but nope. My pick is ChòpnBlọk.

ChòpnBlọk is dedicated to bringing us West African inspired fast casual dishes, and I. Am. HERRREEE. For. IT! I had the pleasure of attending one of their pop-ups {Chopd + Stewd} a few weeks ago and got my entire life. My first bite I said “this is kind of upsetting because I won’t be able to go to a particular place and get this again.”

Every dish was better than the next and if this is what we have to look forward to WHEN the brick and mortar opens, my ass is just hoping the first location is in the loop. I’m gonna need a Green + Tings bowl on a very regular basis. Y’all will too.”
